Bulelani leads dance classes in his town of Smartsville near Sedgefield, South Africa. Together with his wife, they mentor the children in their school life as well as taking them to perform at festivals and weddings.

He also runs a programme getting seeds into the hands of community members with garden space, a non-profit KindaShop that sells fruit and veg to the community, and a clothing charity called Box of Hope.
