      Life - Words to Self-Recovery

      By Adi Andreeva

      · old wisdom,quotes,philosophy

Life... Our life is built through the answers we give, to the totality of the circumstances we experience. Life is a constant choice. Our ability to give these answers, to "take responsibility", largely determines not only our daily development, but also future events, our future.

Responsibility gives us a wonderful gift: not to reconcile but to think and search, moment by moment, what answer life demands of us. Faced with crisis, pain, distortion, baseness, despair or loss, we have the balm of tenderness, patience, sense, trust, gratitude, generosity, courage, intention and much more attitudes that we can choose responsibly to keep going and build quality.

In this case, what can we do to change the world, our world, here and now?

It is simple - just make a decision to be responsible. And to add to this responsibility a good dose of joy, good mood and love. Then heaven would be on earth. I hope and expect the following words to inspire you to do so.

"To be human is to take responsibility."

      ANTOINE DE SAINT EXUPERY

"The last human freedom is the choice of our own attitude to every circumstance."

      VICTOR FRANKEL

"Wisdom is not given to us; we must find it ourselves through a journey that no one can spare us or do for us."

      MARCEL PRUST

"Circumstances and situations give a taste of life, but our mind decides what that taste will be."

      JOHN HOMMER MILER

"Because I can't control events, I control myself."

      MICHELLE DE MONTEN

"To one student who constantly complained about others, Master said:

      - If you seek peace, try to change yourself, not others. It is easier to put on slippers than to cover the whole ground with a carpet."

      ANTHONY DE MELO

"You are the cause of almost everything that happens to you."

      EPICTET

"Man sows thought and reaps action.

He sows action and reaps habit.

He sows habit and reaps character.

He sows character and reaps destiny."

      SHIVANANDA

"Everyone wants to change the world, but no one wants to change themselves."

      LEO TOLSTOY

"To resign oneself means to commit suicide every day."

      HONORE DE BALZAC

"There is no heavier burden than the unrealized potential."

      CHARLES SCHULZ

"The solutions are the hinges of fate."

      EDWIN MARKAM

"Intelligent selfishness is about striving to make others feel very good. So that you can feel a little better this way."

      OSCAR WILD

"There are no pathetic roles, only pathetic actors."

      MILAN KUNDERA

"What we really need is a change in our attitude towards life. We must first understand ourselves and then explain to the desperate that the important thing is not to expect anything from life, but that life expects something from us. We need to stop asking questions about its meaning and, instead, think of ourselves as people to whom life constantly and constantly asks questions. Our response must be composed not of words or meditation, but of concrete behavior and action. After all, to live means to take responsibility for finding the right answer to the circumstances, that we face, and to perform the tasks that life constantly assigns to each person."

      VICTOR FRANKEL

"His ability to take responsibility shows the measure of man."

      ROY L. SMITH

"Masters of their destiny are only those who expect nothing from chance."

      M. ARNOLD
